Posture and Breathing Transformation Through
Body Reorganization

Are you doing all the recommended things (yoga, meditation, somatic therapy?) to relieve embodied emotional distress, but reverting to the same place of chronic tension and reduced capacity?

Are you are just doing things to get back to baseline, but not learning skills that reconstruct the baseline?

You might be bracing in your pelvis, in your posture, even in your visual system.

That’s why it feels like you are just treading water.

What’s the solution?

Learn to stand as your body was designed so you can find new resources in your body.

I usually have a hard time standing still, nothing feels quite right, I am always restless and needing to stretch constantly. I didn’t feel that in this standing position. Wow.

experience these simple concepts that restore safety in your body so you can access stable power

This modern approach to movement focuses on how the body and brain understand information. Learn this and you will transform the way you live in your daily body with more resilience, power and ease. How does that happen?

gravity, light, sound

On a fundamental level, you organize yourself all day long to the forces of gravity, light, and sounds. When you get more from the malleable structures within your body that are responsive to those forces, and when you work through your sensory system to create change in your body, you facilitate the body’s innate self-organizing feedback system.

Build somatic skills to create reliable inner resourcing, and then you can systematically dismantle personal blocks in the stories you tell yourself.

My bones and gravity. It felt amazing. And the psychological “lesson” of being supported by your own body is a profound lesson. I have been seeking external teachings and wisdom to “fix” what is lacking or missing. Your words and guidance are very clear

Hi there!

I have trained extensively in somatic movement, bodywork, and perception to anchor my understanding of a coherent body. I’ve been helping clients find body solutions since 2000.

My hands-on work is informed by trainings in craniosacral, visceral manipulation, manual osteopathic traditions, and proprioceptive touch. My movement work is inspired by trainings in Emilie Conrad's Continuum Movement, Svetlana Masgutova's Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration™, somatic movement with Hubert Godard, yoga therapy, and pilates. Studies in perceptual systems include trainings in the Tomatis™ Method, Bates Method and visual perception. I’m also a certified expert in Stanford researcher BJ Fogg’s Tiny Habits® method.

If you feel like you've tried everything, contact me. This approach is different. -Sue Choi

In 2023 I published my first book When Things Stick: Untangling Your Body From Old Patterns, which has helped thousands learn to self-regulate through organizing their posture and movement from a centered place. Every course purchase includes a digital copy of this book as a bonus.
